This policy explains how Anemoni Films Ltd ("we"), the data controller, handles personal data for videocast.live. We aim to comply with the EU GDPR and Cyprus Law 125(I)/2018. Contact our privacy team at [email protected].
1. Data we collect
- Account data — email address and login credentials when you register.
- Subscription data — plan, trial status, and renewal dates. Payment card details are handled by our payment provider once connected; we do not store full card numbers.
- Usage data — which picks you open and basic device/browser information, used to operate the Service.
- Communications — emails you send us (support, submissions).
2. Why we use it (purposes & legal bases)
- To provide the Service and your membership — performance of a contract.
- To process billing and prevent fraud — contract and legitimate interests.
- Analytics and advertising cookies — only with your consent (see the Cookie Policy).
- To comply with legal obligations such as tax and accounting — legal obligation.
3. Processors
We share data only with processors that actually operate the Service — currently our hosting provider, and a payment provider once connected. We do not sell personal data. Where data leaves the UK/EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
4. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any right, email [email protected]. You may also complain to your local supervisory authority — the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection (Cyprus).
5. Retention
We keep account and subscription data for as long as your account is active and for a limited period afterwards to meet legal and accounting obligations, then delete or anonymise it. Analytics data, where collected with consent, is retained for a limited window.
