videocast is a small independent paid-subscription video service. Every morning our curation team, led by founder Paula Miralles, watches dozens of newly submitted and festival-circuit indie short films and ranks exactly thirty — with one clear number one. The ranking resets at midnight in your own local timezone. That's the whole product: not a feed to get lost in, but a single trusted choice for the evening.

What members get

Six picks are free to preview on the homepage each day. Membership unlocks all 30 daily ranked picks plus the full archive of 1,860 indie shorts, on the web browser of any modern phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop. New country collections reach annual members first.

What we deliberately avoid

No infinite scroll. No autoplay into the next thing. No algorithm steering you somewhere else. We credit every filmmaker, country, and year, and we pay attention to the work rather than the metrics. We do not currently offer native mobile apps, smart-TV apps, offline downloads, or 4K — and we won't claim any of them until they actually exist.
