Content Policy
Anemoni Films Ltd · Strovolos, Cyprus · Effective 2026-03-10
videocast is a curated home for independent short films. This policy sets out what we accept, what we prohibit, and what filmmakers must confirm when they submit work.
Prohibited content
- Content that infringes copyright or other intellectual-property rights.
- Unlawful content, including incitement to violence, hate speech, or harassment.
- Sexual content involving minors, or any depiction of child sexual abuse — reported to authorities.
- Content that violates the privacy of identifiable individuals without consent.
- Malware, deceptive material, or anything designed to defraud viewers.
Copyright clearance
By submitting a film, you confirm that you own or have cleared all rights — including music, footage, fonts, and performances — needed to distribute it on videocast. We remove material in response to valid notices under our DMCA process.
AI disclosure
If a submitted film uses generative-AI tools in a meaningful way, tell us at submission. We may label such work for viewers. AI-assisted craft is welcome; misrepresenting AI output as solely human-made, or using AI to clone a real person without consent, is not.
Curation & placement
A human team reviews every submission. We make no guarantee of placement or ranking, and curation decisions are final. We credit the filmmaker, country, and year for everything we feature.
